In the process of learning all there is
to learn about operations management, we as a group acquired a great deal of
knowledge regarding concepts and techniques that will eventually aid us in our
professional career. One important and
necessary lesson learned was customer involvement, especially at Atlantic Pacific
Lines.
Additionally, both the workforce and equipment must be flexible to your
customers needs. Furthermore, you must
establish a continuous improvement method using a lean systems approach to stay
one step ahead of the competition. Finally, building a great relationship with
both your distributors and customers is extremely important not only for Atlantic Pacific Lines
but in any professional establishment.
