Process Structure 

Atlantic Pacific Lines has a Process Structure of services. Our customer-contact is of a Hybrid office. Atlantic Pacific Lines has the ability and resources to interact with our costumer’s and at the same time offer standard services with some alternatives. By being a Hybrid office, Atlantic Pacific Lines has a high customer contact with a high degree of customization. Each customer has different shipping needs and requires different document applications and processing. In addition, our salespeople contact carriers for rate quotes, process documents, provide a massive network of warehouses to meet every packaging need. Ultimately, to provide the customer with a smooth and worry-free transportation service.

Customer Involvement
A large and required process at Atlantic Pacific Lines in the Customer Involvement. Customers are responsible for the loading of the containers after they are delivered to their appropriate location. By involving the customers in this process it creates improved quality, quicker delivery time, better flexibility, and lower cost to the customer. At Atlantic Pacific Lines we believe that customer involvement becomes part of the process and the extent of the customer’s participation gives the customer a sense of ownership and at the same time building a partnership as well as a relationship with Atlantic Pacific Lines.

Resource Flexibility
At Atlantic Pacific Lines we pride ourselves on providing and having an effective flexible workforce. Our associates are proficient and skilled to perform multiple tasks and in multiple fields. Our associates are trained to assist the customers from the beginning of the ordering process and until the completion of final delivery. Associates aid with the booking of the containers (freight density), accounting (pricing), export and import documentations, and overall customer service. By have a flexible workforce, Atlantic Pacific Lines guarantees a smooth process, from start to finish. Additionally, Atlantic Pacific Lines has flexible equipment. Starting from the size of the container needed for the customers load specifications. Atlantic Pacific Lines provides FCL (Full container load) and LCL (Less than container load). Furthermore, Atlantic Pacific Lines provides a vast network of warehouse distributors that deliver every packaging requests and are conveniently located near airports and major ports. By having these flexible resources Atlantic Pacific Lines cuts down on all inventory costs, allowing us to provide reasonable pricing to our customers.
